FO Friday: Handspun project, a toy & painted roving

This yarn transformed into this little cowl this week! 

I am pretty pleased with the result. I used the Simple Yet Effective Cowl pattern by Tin Can Knits. It was mindless, and the result is a simple, yet effective little cowl. 

This little stuffed toy, Boo-yah, also came off the needles. The pattern was super cute and fast, but I don’t love the finishing on it. I imagine I’ll whip up a few more of these before Halloween though. 

My most recent batch of painted roving is dry and braided up. It has been so much fun experimenting with the dyes.
