Quick Weekend Knit: Prim Hat

I have been working on big projects lately: shawls and sweaters. So, this weekend, after finishing the knitting on my Farmhouse Shawl, I decided to switch it up and knit something small. We were also taking a ferry yesterday, so it was a good project to bring along. I have lots of single skeins around, so hats are pretty perfect as small projects that use up stash yarn.

I decided on the Prim hat, which I got on Etsy (it’s also available through Ravelry). It’s knit mainly on size 8 needles with a unique cable up the side. The chart was really easy to memorize, so it was pretty quick and easy, which is exactly what I wanted. I used a skein of Heirloom Romney by Fancy Tiger Crafts.

Here’s the finished hat!
