Yarn review – schachenmary Boston

I got this yarn in a pattern kit from Craftsy. The hat pattern and yarn were on sale for about $12!

It is a bulky, wool-acrylic blend. The balls are a little over 60 yards, so it is a good pick for hats. The yarn knits up well and has a nice texture. It certainly isn’t the softest, but nor is it particularly rough. It is a bit textured, so it can split while you work, but it is easy to work with.

Here’s a picture of my finished hat. I also started a headband with the leftovers.
